|Crush form serrated
|Crush form serrated blades are typically made out of three materials:
1. A2 tool steel hardened/tempered RC 60-62
2. Pre-hardened high carbon steel RC 48-52
3. Clear or Blue Temper Spring Steel RC 4245 Standard tooth pitch of .104 provides aggressive penetration required in tough application use. Our .060 pitch meets the requirements of filament and multi·strand materials and or where a smooth cut is more applicable. A2 tool steel typically .060 thick is recommended for applications where extreme blade life is paramount.
Using proprietary grinding techniques, Specialty Integrated Services can economically produce a multitude of tooth forms, which maximizes the cutability of ground blade stock.
Using pre-plated cold rolled steel (nickel plated), the finished product is ready for use. Parts are rust resistant, and extremely functional.
Blades are degreased prior to shipment, and must pass our rigid inspection requirements, then packed to customer specifications.
The blade material is manufactured out of high carbon steel, hardened and tempered to RC 53-55.
After grinding to required relief angles, material can be provided in rolls up to 100 feet long, or cut to your length.
Blades can be shipped in bulk, stacked, wrapped to specified quantities, or individually packaged.
